Minn. Architecture program books
Client—University of Minnesota School of Architecture
9 by 11.5 inches, 144 pages, saddle wire binding with sleeve
This project University of Minnesota’s School of Architecture is comprised of three separately bound books brought together with a sleeve. There is an individual book for graduate thesis, adjunct faculty, and permanent faculty works, each printed on a slightly different paper. We worked closely with Head of Architecture Marc Swackhamer to edit the materials so that we could effectively show a cross section of the work and thinking of the school, while maintaining a certain density and intensity of vision. The holes in the florescent pink sleeve refer to the lecture poster we designed for the program at the same time, echoing the series theme of play. Books were produced in a large number so that they may be distributed widely.
