This book of five essays uses Akzidenz Grotesk, one of our and author Mario Gooden’s favorite typefaces. The book is very precisely calibrated for reading with its relatively small trim size and warm toned paper, it facilitates longer passages of reading. The economy of the book belies its material presence. This is especially true of the cover, which uses a paper product evocative of leather, or possibly building paper. Type on the cover is minimal and sharp. The spine logo designed by linkedbyair, has variable dimensions that correspond to the trim size and page count of the book.
